Catching Up!

Well...I am a little behind! Things started to get busy as October came to and end and November began! We had a great Halloween weekend. I took Jack into GTM as a football for the costume contest. He was so cute! Doug and I took Jack to Aggieville for the Homecoming parade on the 29th. Sunday was Halloween and we just stayed home and passed out candy.
The first weekend of November, Aunt Caroline hosted a Sip and See for Jack. It was so much fun to share my little guy with so many people that mean so much to me! We had a great time...and as always, Caroline's party planning was PERFECT! After the party we celebated Mom's birthday by going to lunch and then painting pottery. So much fun! Jack and Alayna were exhausted!

I went back to work full time on November 15. It was a busy week playing catch up for me, while Doug took the week off to stay home with Jack. I think they both enjoyed it so much! :) Last week Jack got to go to work with me on Monday and Tuesday. Monday he was so good...didn't make a peep! Tuesday, however, he let everyone know that he'd rather be home. So it was a short day for both of us. Grandma (Omenski) came on Wednesday and stayed with Jack. I think it was a special time for them to be together.
Jack turned 2 months on 11/17! He has already changed so much in just one month!

Thanksgiving day we got up early-around 4:30am and got ready to head to Arkansas. It still amazes me that it take so much longer to go anywhere with a little one! We were on the road by 6:30am. The drive was pretty good until the last hour when we ran into sleet and snow. Lots of accidents along the road! We made it safely to Mom and Dad's around 1pm. Jack did great the WHOLE time! Such a good little traveler!
We celebrated Thanksgiving day with Mom, Dad, Caroline, Aaron, Taylynn, Preston, Alayna, Robert, Deborah, Denise and Bill Hart.

It was so great to see everyone! And such a good Thanksgiving dinner! Friday we went shopping and Jack got his pictures taken with santa.

We left Saturday afternnon and headed back to Manhattan. At least this time the weather was good! Sunday was spent snuggling little Jack, knowing that we would have to take him to daycare for the first time this morning. After a long time dreading this day, I did ok. Of course I missed my little guy, but I know he is in good hands and already has a new friend. I know it will just get easier as the days go on. So I think that gets you up to speend with us!

I will do my best to update more often! :)
