Happy 1/2 Birthday!

It just so happens that Jack's 1/2 birthday falls on St. Patrick's Day! I can't believe my little baby is 6 months old today! He has changed so much and is really starting to get a personality of his own. He smiles all of the time-especailly at his Daddy! He is starting to laugh more and more, in fact yesterday, as we took a walk he discovered the window on the top of the stroller and would look up at me and just crack up! He thought it was the funniest thing! :) Last Sunday we had his 6 month pictures taken by a local photographer. I can't wait to get the proofs (2 weeks) and I will be sure and post them for all to see!
He has an ear infection now, really the first time he has been sick, no fever and he is still sleeping through the night, so it must not bother him too much. He loves Ms. Becca and his little friends at daycare and it is so comforting to know that he is happy and being taken care of. Such a blessing! At his 6 month check up, Jack weighed in at 22 lbs 4 oz, 28.5 inches long! No wonder my back hurts! He eats about 30 oz of formula a day and eats baby food and or cereal in the evening. It's fun watching him try new foods, but so far he likes it all. He is wearing 6-12 months right now, but starting to overlap into 12-18 months in some things (footed PJ's especailly). It is starting to get nice outside and he really likes to go on walks and just sit out on the porch. As long as the rain holds off, we plan on going to the St. Patty's day parade on Saturday. We are looking forward to going to the pool and zoo this summer! All in all, we are so over joyed to have such a wonderful, happy baby!

Happy 1/2 Birthday, Baby Jack! We love you so much!

It's been a while!

I have been so busy lately I haven't had a lot of extra time to update my blog! I recently went to Miami, FL and Chicago, IL on business. It was hard to leave Jack, but Doug does such a great job with him, I don't have to worry. Caroline and I took a road trip to Arkansas with Alayna and Jack a couple of weekends ago. We had such a great time! It was nice to spend time together and so great to visit our parents! The babies did great and I think they enjoyed each other too!
