Pool time!

We have a small pool in our backyard. Jack LOVES it so much! His favorite thing is to run and fall in the water. It's nice to have a backyard to play in!

The Omenski barber shop!

Jack hair has been getting a bit long, but I have been dreading his next hair cut! He hates to get his hair cut and I have to hold him on my lap, screaming and kicking. It is very unpleasant for anyone near by. So Doug decided he'd try to cut it himself. Unfortunately I didn't get pictures of the hair cut in progress. I was too busy keeping Jack preoccupied by feeding him one grape at a time. He did ok but got a bit angry towards the end...grapes were no longer helping. I think Doug did a great job!

Mother's Day/Baby Dedication

Today I was lucky to share Mother's day with Chandler's baby dedication. Doug, Jack and I drove to Topeka this morning and went to Western Hills Baptist Church where we met Caroline and her family. Since I grew up at that church, being there brought back a lot of memories! The service was great and we were so happy to be there for Chandler!
Afterwards we went to the Biven's home for a beautiful lunch! What a great day!

I didn't get any photos on my camera of Caroline... But I did capture one of her heel stuck in the vent!

FREEDOM!!!

This afternoon Jack and I went to the zoo. It was not unlike any other zoo trip, except this time the baby goats were out and about. Jack wanted to pet them SO badly so I let him out of the stroller. He had the time of his life! He pet the goats, chased decks, watched the penguins swim...he had a whole new view of the zoo!
