Family Fun!!!!!

We were so lucky to have a weekend with my Mom and Dad, Caroline and family, and Robert and family!
It was our first time to Springfield, MO. Robert had a tractor so we went on tractor rides. We played in a shallow river and enjoyed fireworks. Even Jack loved the fireworks. What a great weekend with family!

Here we go, go, go, go on an adventure!

A couple of weeks ago Jack I and I traveled to Bentonville, AR to spend a few days with my parents. Jack was great in the car and had fun watching his movies and playing with toys. We got there Sunday night in time for dinner. We had a great visit! Jack swam with Lucille, played in the splash park, went on cart rides and enjoyed time with his Grandaddy and Grandmother!

The start of something good!

It began on a Monday morning, sitting in my windowless office, longing to work outside. Our porch is constantly in direct sunlight. Not only does it get hot, but it's impossible to see my laptop screen with that much light! We are blessed to have a walkout basement and I have been wanting to use the dugout space to it full potential. Well, I have had a productive lunch break/quick Walmart run! Here are some before and after pictures... There is still more I would like to do, but I have made a great start!

Traditions

I have so many wonderful childhood memories! One of them is Saturday morning donuts. Every Saturday my Dad would pick donuts and my brother and sister and I would watch cartoons and eat our donuts on our TV trays. I have been wanting to find a tray for Jack and finally this weekend I found one at a garage sale for 5 cents!
We will continue the Saturday morning donut tradition at the Omenski house!

Water fun!

I took Jack to play in the fountains this week. He loves, loves, loves water so of course he had a great time! This was our bath last night!
Today we had a garage sale and we let Jack play in the sprinkler during the sale.
